One of the eight Mastery Styles
The Drifting Mystic
You find it by wandering, never by searching.
- SourceIntuitiveYou know before you can explain.
- MotionAllowingYou build momentum by settling.
- FormRoamingFreshness is what makes it real.
Direction reaches you sideways. Not in the meditation but on the walk home from it. Not while you are trying but three days later in the shower. You have probably been told this means you lack focus. It means your channel opens when your attention is loose.
You are the least forceable of the eight. Structure clamps down on exactly the openness you need, and effort scares off exactly the thing you were reaching for. What works for you looks, from the outside, almost like doing nothing — and produces things nobody saw coming.
The gifts of this style
- You receive whole answers from unexpected angles, fully formed.
- You hold desire loosely enough that it does not curdle into grasping.
- You find the door nobody was looking at, because you were not looking either.
